This exhibition serves as a circus, a surreal realm where the artist unveils his array of artistic 'freaks.' Embracing the unconventional, Sert playfully challenges traditional narratives and beckons viewers to join him on this eccentric show. The show defies the tendency of the human brain to label what's not familiar as 'freakish.'
In this vibrant showcase, Sert adopts a minimal yet boldly graphic visual language. The brush strokes, resembling sticks and circles, mimic the visual representation of binary code (1 and 0), implying that the circus or the freak show is orchestrated by an algorithm. Accompanied by his ever-present roses, this exhibition brings forth Sert's unique artistic coding, breathing life into his whimsical creations."

MODERN TIME SINS 2019
Sert designed this exhibition as a series of diagrams in the form of paintings whereby each painting depicted a modern time sin such as procrastination and perfectionism. He adopted minimal graphics, as one would see in a manual or encyclopedia. Sert provided the visitors to the show with a WhatsApp emoji guide on how to read each diagram, in this case, the paintings.
